So often we forget to take time for ourselves. Time to JUST BE one in stillness. Allowing the mind to calmly focus on the breath. Allowing the thoughts to flow through your mind, but NOT staying stuck in them. Allowing yourself to just be YOU. Stillness is very important for the mind & soul. A lot of us are scared to be alone, scared to face those lonely thoughts that do not stop lingering around. But when you meditate, itโ€™s not really about โ€œclearing the mindโ€, but itโ€™s more about becoming AWARE of it and yourself, your body, your breath, your feelings, your heartbeat, your surroundings, the sounds… itโ€™s about being in the PRESENT MOMENT. I understand how uncomfortable it can be to sometimes to face some of those negative thoughts, but the goal is to acknowledge them just for a quick second, ask yourself why these thoughts are lingering, understand the feeling and then finally release them as you bring your focus back to your breath.ย ๐Ÿง˜๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธย ๐Ÿง˜๐Ÿฝโ€โ™‚๏ธย #namasteย #meditation #selfawareness #stillness
