Solitude

Sometimes I enjoy my solitude
I’m sorry, I’m not being rude
I just have ideas I need to pursue
I cannot afford to get confused
So I’m a little aloof
I got something to prove
There are certain areas I need to improve
All my energy I need to save and consume
I want to achieve the real thing, not a substitute
You get the real me, not an excuse
Don’t want to put up with other people’s dispute
I enjoy other people’s company
But I know they won’t always follow through
